Jefferson Interfaith Action Coalition*
Proposal for a Warming Center in Port Townsend,
There is currently a need for a warming center for the homeless community during the day. This need is more pronounced with the closing of the Boiler Room.
Spearheaded by the Jefferson Interfaith Action Coalition, the goal is to provide shelter and supportive space during the cold winter months. Local Communities of faith, along with anyone called to support the effort, are invited to participate.
If you’d like to give to this effort, click the button below, give to the “Mission and Ministry of FPCPT” and enter “Warming Center” in the NOTES area.
100% of your generous donation will go to the Warming Center.
This is intended as a stop-gap, temporary response to meet an urgent and unmet need in the community for this winter.
